About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage day-to-day aspects of assigned grant portfolios for the local Jewish community
Serve as a liaison between Strategy & Impact and other Federation departments
Support strategic decision-making by researching and compiling information about community organizations
Coordinate and participate in site visits and meetings with partner organizations
Review qualitative and quantitative data and prepare summaries for internal and external audiences
Stay informed about emerging best practices in philanthropy and contribute ideas to improve grant processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent & relevant experience required; advanced coursework or a Master's degree in a related field preferred, but not required
3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in philanthropy, grantmaking, nonprofit program management, or a related field
Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and priorities with limited supervision
Proven ability to build productive relationships with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required and experience with grant management systems preferred
Familiarity with Jewish communal organizations and knowledge of Jewish customs and traditions strongly preferred
