About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and direct incoming correspondence to ensure the efficient processing of Commercial Lines transactions for policyholders and/or agents.
  • Input new submissions and implement policy modifications in accordance with established criteria.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the implementation of streamlined processes, quality and timeliness standards.
  • Engage with external carrier partners and communicate with agents.
  • Accurately input new business into the system to ensure proper policy rating.
  • Modify policy information during the policy term based on requests from agents, insured parties, and underwriters.
  • Keep policy documents up-to-date and well organized in document storage according to company standards.
  • Conduct research and lookups to support underwriters in decision-making processes.
  • Review renewal accounts to verify that the proper renewal process is accurately executed.
  • Distribute change-in-condition letters to identified high-risk accounts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Six months insurance related experience
  • Microsoft Office and data entry experience
  • Property/casualty insurance background and jewelry industry experience
