About the role
- Gather historical data and publish weekly and monthly operational performance reports.
- Assess trends and provide recommendations to support a fast-paced and growing Airline Operation
- Develop presentations, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for regular production meetings that drive executive-level decision making
- Review flight schedules, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable feedback to Maintenance Planners and the Network Planning team
- Develop and refine the long term forecast of fleet maintenance to inform resource requirements and Planning Strategy
- Support Tech Ops in assessing performance of various operational initiatives
- Build Excel tools and Python scripts to aggregate and analyze Maintenance Operations data
- Develop and maintain Excel Templates and Macros used by Maintenance Planning Team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, Operations, Data Analytics, or other quantitative field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience
- One (1) year of experience in an analytical role, ideally in aviation, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or management consulting
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Expert in Excel pivot tables, look up functions, charts and VBA
- Experience with R, Python, or similar programming language
- Experience with analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
- Working knowledge of statistics and other data analysis concepts
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Currently in possession of a valid passport or equivalent travel documents to travel in and out of the United States
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
