Product Line Specialist – CF34, AE3007
Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI)Product Line Specialist managing maintenance events for turbine-powered aircraft at JSSI. Ensuring accurate quotes, cost control, and robust client communication during maintenance operations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Liaise with Associate Engine PLS to secure accurate quotes from vendors.
- Control the cost of all maintenance events.
- Issue purchase orders.
- Exhaust all resources to ensure maximum cost savings.
- Confirm MOU discounts have been received.
- Produce a comprehensible analysis to the client once the work has commenced.
- Assist in scheduling the work into one of JSSI’s preferred facilities.
- Keep the client fully briefed on the work package.
- Manage the event by physical presence at the service facility.
- Maintain a maintenance case with timely updates regarding costs and project status.
- Provide the Pricing & Program Development Department with information that allows them to:
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of Engine and Airframe templates.
- Develop Pricing Models for equipment in the market.
- Develop unique program options for our clients.
- Review and process invoices, meeting turn time goals set forth by Technical Services Management.
- Perform Pre-Induction Diagnostic Surveys (PIDS) on assets to determine enrollment eligibility.
- Stay current on all Service Bulletins, Advisory Directives and inspection updates for that line.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Technical Services Management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 15 years’ experience with turbine-powered aircraft, particularly with GE (CF34).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Field preferred.
- Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and write articulately and analytically.
- Clear understanding of relevant technical skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Well organized.
