About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to.
- Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours of collection, notifying residents of delinquent rent.
- Provide outstanding service to the residents, resolving inquiries, work orders, and requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain and build applicant waiting list.
- Ensure property stays on budget through cost effective practices.
- Conduct initial lease process with certification and annual re-certification for affordable housing, state agency, and government agency programs.
- Pass INSPIRE, state, and government agency inspections while maintaining company standards.
- Ensure that vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly and market those units diligently.
- Process applications for move-in/transfer and forward to Compliance for approval.
- Supervise property staff directly reporting into property manager, including maintenance and housekeeping staff.
- Organize community activities according to the requirements of the property management agreement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC, or Section 8
- Solid understanding of Fair Housing
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong competency in Microsoft office suite and familiar with learning new software
- Fair Housing Training (preferred)
- Real Page Onesite Experience (preferred)
