About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Diligently ensure all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to
- Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours of collection
- Provide outstanding service to residents, resolving inquiries and requests in a timely manner
- Ensure property stays on budget through cost-effective practices
- Conduct initial lease process and annual re-certifications
- Pass inspections and maintain company standards
- Ensure vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly
- Supervise property staff and inspect work of outside vendors
- Organize community activities and be available for after-hours emergencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC or Section 8
- Solid understanding of Fair Housing
- Skilled in income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with learning new software
