About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to
  • Collect and Deposit rent within 24 hours of collection
  • Provide outstanding service to the residents
  • Must maintain and build applicant waiting list
  • Conduct initial lease process with certification and in addition to annual re-certification for affordable housing
  • Pass INSPIRE, State, and Government Agency inspections
  • Ensure that vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly
  • Supervise property staff directly reporting into property manager
  • Inspect and supervise the work of outside vendors
  • Organize community activities on a regular basis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC, or Section 8
  • Must have solid understanding of Fair Housing
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong competency in Microsoft office suite and familiar with learning new software
