Property Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to
- Collect and Deposit rent within 24 hours of collection
- Provide outstanding service to the residents
- Must maintain and build applicant waiting list
- Conduct initial lease process with certification and in addition to annual re-certification for affordable housing
- Pass INSPIRE, State, and Government Agency inspections
- Ensure that vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly
- Supervise property staff directly reporting into property manager
- Inspect and supervise the work of outside vendors
- Organize community activities on a regular basis
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC, or Section 8
- Must have solid understanding of Fair Housing
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong competency in Microsoft office suite and familiar with learning new software
