About the role

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events within the JerseySTEM community setting.
  • Collaborates with community members, local businesses & organizations, and other stakeholders to create engaging and memorable experiences.
  • Manages event logistics, budget, and marketing, ensuring events are successful and meet the needs of the JerseySTEM college instructors community.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of event planning software and tools.
  • Budget management and financial acumen.
  • Experience in marketing and promotion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Benefits
  • Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership
