About the role
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events within the JerseySTEM community setting.
- Collaborates with community members, local businesses & organizations, and other stakeholders to create engaging and memorable experiences.
- Manages event logistics, budget, and marketing, ensuring events are successful and meet the needs of the JerseySTEM college instructors community.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of event planning software and tools.
- Budget management and financial acumen.
- Experience in marketing and promotion.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Benefits
- Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership
