What you’ll need

5+ years of direct, hands-on Florida experience filing residential property tax appeals
Personal experience filing or arguing petitions before a Florida Value Adjustment Board, or adjudicating them as a special magistrate
Experience across hundreds of parcels and familiarity with edge cases
Comprehensive knowledge of every step of the Florida property tax appeals process
Ability to explain practical operation of Chapter 194, F.S. and DOR uniform rules 12D-9 and 12D-10
Familiarity with county-level differences in Florida Property Appraiser offices and VABs
Knowledge of TRIM notice timing, the 25-day filing window, DR-486 and variants, e-filing versus paper, and the §194.014 partial-payment requirement
Knowledge of hearings, comparable selection, evidence exchange windows, and condition-based arguments
No active conflict with another company building consumer property tax appeal software
Florida-based strongly preferred
Availability for approximately 5–10 hours per week of hourly, as-needed consulting
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
Must answer whether visa sponsorship is required
