About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop new business opportunities through referrals, enquiries and relationship-building activities
- Promote the Health & Protection proposition internally across the Group and externally to prospective clients
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell relevant products and services
- Provide advice and recommendations tailored to clients' individual needs and objectives
- Review and analyse employee benefit arrangements to identify improvements, cost efficiencies and enhanced outcomes
- Attend client and colleague meetings virtually and in person as required
- Deliver activity in line with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements and internal compliance standards
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth within the Health & Protection team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Group Risk or Protection sales, account management or consulting
- Strong technical knowledge in at least one of Group Risk or Protection
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach to generating and developing business opportunities
- Experience within an insurance broker environment is preferred; insurer experience will also be considered
- Experience using Acturis is desirable but not essential
- Ability to deliver activity in line with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements and internal compliance standards
- Willingness to broaden knowledge across the wider Health & Protection proposition
