About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new business opportunities through referrals, enquiries and relationship-building activities
  • Promote the Health & Protection proposition internally across the Group and externally to prospective clients
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell relevant products and services
  • Provide advice and recommendations tailored to clients' individual needs and objectives
  • Review and analyse employee benefit arrangements to identify improvements, cost efficiencies and enhanced outcomes
  • Attend client and colleague meetings virtually and in person as required
  • Deliver activity in line with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements and internal compliance standards
  • Build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth within the Health & Protection team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in Group Risk or Protection sales, account management or consulting
  • Strong technical knowledge in at least one of Group Risk or Protection
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive approach to generating and developing business opportunities
  • Experience within an insurance broker environment is preferred; insurer experience will also be considered
  • Experience using Acturis is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to deliver activity in line with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements and internal compliance standards
  • Willingness to broaden knowledge across the wider Health & Protection proposition
