About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assessing customer’s needs, answering general enquiries and providing suitable advice
- Maximising renewal retention on allocated renewals and taking responsibility for replacing business where necessary to retain the client
- Completing amendments and cancellations as instructed, assisting with claims and resolving accounts and direct debit queries
- Providing a high level of customer service, treating the customers fairly and adhering to rules, codes of conduct and guidelines as issued by the firm and FCA
- Ensuring all administration and paperwork is undertaken in accordance with company procedures and timescales
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong customer service and communication skills – both written and verbally
- A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- A sincere interest in developing a career within the insurance/broking sector
- A desire to work towards CII Qualifications (ideally)
- Work experience in a professional Office environment (advantageous but not essential)
