About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assessing customer’s needs, answering general enquiries and providing suitable advice
Maximising renewal retention on allocated renewals and taking responsibility for replacing business where necessary to retain the client
Completing amendments and cancellations as instructed, assisting with claims and resolving accounts and direct debit queries
Providing a high level of customer service, treating the customers fairly and adhering to rules, codes of conduct and guidelines as issued by the firm and FCA
Ensuring all administration and paperwork is undertaken in accordance with company procedures and timescales

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong customer service and communication skills – both written and verbally
A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
A sincere interest in developing a career within the insurance/broking sector
A desire to work towards CII Qualifications (ideally)
Work experience in a professional Office environment (advantageous but not essential)
