About the role

  • Product and Technical Expertise: Serve as the go-to technical expert throughout the sales cycle, focusing on Mid-Market accounts. Demonstrate how our platform aligns with each prospect’s needs and R&D processes.
  • Support and Collaboration: Work closely with Senior Sales Engineers and Account Executives to navigate deal cycles, from initial discovery to closing. Ensure a smooth handoff to Customer Success for ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct Demos and Proof of Concepts: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and execute proof of concepts tailored to Mid-Market prospects, helping them achieve their goals and overcome objections.
  • Market Insight: Develop an understanding of Mid-Market R&D processes, tools, and competitors, providing valuable feedback to Product Management and Marketing.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in refining and improving our sales engineering processes, ensuring they are effective and scalable as we grow.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to create resources that support prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in Mid-Market Sales: Proven success working with Mid-Market accounts, particularly in the technology or software space.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player who enjoys working with others to achieve shared goals, and who values collective success over individual accomplishments.
