About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and implement all production operations and shop activities
  • Provide direct leadership to assigned areas of production
  • Act as a liaison between upper management and hourly employees
  • Develop and manage team member’s performance based on KPI’s
  • Assure that activities and personnel are maintained in accordance with plant goals
  • Assist with safety awareness programs and performance evaluations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree in a related field
  • 1 to 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the window and door industry
  • 5 to 7 years of applicable work experience, to be determined by plant management
  • Knowledge of raw materials, preferably for door and window applications
  • Experience in production and manufacturing process improvement techniques
  • Demonstrated leadership, technical aptitude, and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
