About the role
- Partner with the VP of Sales to optimize existing revenue models
- Translate the company's strategic plan into actionable multi-year sales strategy
- Maintain overall responsibility for revenues, pipeline management, and all sales and channel management
- Utilize Salesforce.com to drive sales productivity across a team in outside sales personnel
- Lead and manage the sales organization and ensure the implementation of financial and performance objectives
- Cultivate and foster strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Attend key trade and customer events
- Actively monitor changing market conditions
- Help develop new business opportunities and core areas for growth
- Drive the talent management strategy in the sales organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 3 to 5 years in management/leadership roles
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, CRM, and project management tools
- Travel required: 35% or greater
