About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist Group Lead in the efficient operation of the department
Actively support and participate in the company’s safety and health program
Ensure a safe working environment and enforce compliance with JELD-WEN policies and OSHA guidelines
Arrive 30 minutes before shift start to gather information for turnover
Operate various, more complex, door manufacturing equipment
Interpret detailed order tags and production documentation to ensure execution of customer requirements
Ensure standard work is consistently followed and filled out
Verify the accuracy and completion of DIM logs
Maintain and monitor Lockout/Tagout boards, ensuring all locks, tags, and devices are correctly documented

Requirements

What you’ll need

Critical role in supporting daily operations across Warehouse, Shipping, Assembly, and/or Final Processing
Capability to guide the team at start-up
Ability to review prior day results and set daily/weekly targets
Emphasis on leadership, safety, quality, and productivity
Adherence to SQDCI boards
Maintenance of adherence to schedules
