About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production and automation equipment to ensure smooth operation
  • Develop, refine, and document preventive maintenance procedures
  • Maintain automation equipment and related machinery according to engineering and design standards
  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, mechanical failures, and electrical issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair defective circuitry, electronic components, and control circuits
  • Install machinery and equipment to support operational improvements
  • Utilize machining tools such as mills, lathes, and surface grinders as needed
  • Perform welding tasks including MIG and TIG applications
  • Use machine data to analyze equipment performance and determine necessary adjustments
  • Operate manufacturing equipment and demonstrate knowledge of production processes
  • Repair electrical and pneumatic devices and associated systems
  • Install and maintain electrical control systems, solid-state equipment, and automation components
  • Troubleshoot automation equipment including AC/DC motors, control cabinets, airlines, power supplies, and frequency drives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions
  • Proficient in the use of basic power tools (drills, saws, grinders, drill press, pneumatic and hydraulic tools)
  • Hands-on experience using voltmeters and other test/measuring equipment
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot up to 480V 3-phase equipment and control circuits
  • Experience working with PLCs, HMIs, and frequency drive programming
  • Strong logical thinking and problem‑solving skills, especially related to automation equipment, wiring, airlines, motors, and control cabinets
