About the role
- Be a driving force behind product development from concept to completion.
- Improve existing products and develop new solutions.
- Manage specifications and lead prototype manufacturing.
- Coordinate testing in internal and external labs to meet rigorous European standards.
- Focus on optimizing and standardizing products and improve product margin via engineering.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, factories, suppliers, certification bodies, and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background, ideally with a relevant degree and at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or laboratory environments.
- Confident in product development and knowledgeable about materials such as wood, aluminum, steel, glass, and hardware.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and ePDM (CSWP certification is a plus).
- Understanding of fire, smoke, acoustic, and burglary protection standards (advantageous but not required).
- Communicates fluently in Danish and English.
- Works in a structured, proactive way and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
