About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in managing the high volume of applications received throughout the admissions cycle
- Support conversion of admitted students into enrollments
- Support the new student onboarding process
- Update application records for assigned populations
- Provide stakeholders with application status information
- Communicate directly with applicants as assigned by Admissions team members
- Provide information and support to seasonal readers
- Run reports to identify data errors and correct them
- Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with Jefferson's values
- Work as part of a team to prioritize and achieve established goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Superior data-entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to follow policy and process instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting and standing
- Frequent keyboard use
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Less than 1 year of experience with student information systems or CRMs preferred
