About the role

  • You understand the challenges of your colleagues in Finance and Controlling and translate these into the Jedox platform, developing a strong understanding of each customer’s business requirements
  • You enjoy presenting our Jedox software online, to prospective customers, at trade shows and conferences, and in webinars, addressing the challenges of stakeholders from controllers up to the CFO
  • You assess the feasibility and scope of projects for customers ranging from SMEs to DAX-listed corporations and provide initial project estimates (subject to review by the Consulting Team)
  • You work closely with our Sales team and act as the technical point of contact throughout the entire sales process
  • You are technically inclined — you design, build and present software prototypes in Jedox that map our customers’ requirements (POCs). Programming skills are not required
  • You coordinate responses to RFIs/RFPs/RFQs with AI support
  • You organize and lead workshops with potential and existing customers
  • You have a say in which projects you take on and enjoy getting to know new customers and projects
  • You guide our customers together with Sales from the discovery meeting to contract signing

Requirements

  • You have professional experience in Controlling / Corporate Finance so you can engage with our customers on an equal footing
  • Alternatively, you have 2–5 years of experience in a Sales Engineering / Pre-Sales role, ideally with solid finance and management knowledge
  • You have experience working with heads of Controlling, Finance leadership and C-level executives, preferably CFOs
  • You hold a university degree or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong MS Excel skills are part of your daily routine
  • Ideally, you have already worked with multidimensional databases (e.g., Jedox, OLAP, TM1, Infor, Essbase) or a planning/EPM tool (Jedox, Board, Anaplan, SBC, SAC)
  • You enjoy continually meeting new customers and learning about their challenges — Solution Advisory offers a lot of variety
  • You are highly organized and have an eye for detail
  • Fluent German and English are a prerequisite for this role
  • You can work remotely or use our offices in Frankfurt and Freiburg
  • You are a team player, flexible and willing to travel (approx. 20%)
