About the role

  • Strategic sourcing & category management
  • You develop and own procurement strategies for defined categories
  • Supplier strategy & development
  • Selection, evaluation and further development of national and international suppliers, and securing capacities to support revenue growth
  • Cost & value optimization
  • You identify savings potential, negotiate prices, payment and delivery terms, and realize sustainable value contributions (Total Cost of Ownership)
  • Interface management
  • Close collaboration with product development, quality, operations, logistics and finance
  • Market & risk analysis
  • Monitoring procurement markets, commodity prices and risks (availability, ESG, compliance)
  • Scaling & internationalization
  • You actively support the expansion of (international) supply chains and prepare procurement in your categories for further growth
  • Process & system development
  • Contribute to the further development of procurement processes, ERP systems and reporting structures

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the FMCG, cosmetics or consumer goods sectors
  • Solid experience in negotiation, supplier management and cost analysis
  • Strong analytical, structured and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Very good Excel and ERP skills (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)
  • Business-fluent German and very good English
  • Hands-on mentality and enjoyment in driving initiatives forward
  • Experience with international procurement markets (Europe / Asia) and contract manufacturers
  • Knowledge of ESG, sustainability or compliance requirements
  • Experience in fast-growing organizations or during transformation phases
  • Enjoyment of automation, data analysis and modern procurement approaches
