About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement the UK degree apprenticeship recruitment and development strategy for JD Logistics.
- Develop and execute targeted recruitment campaigns to attract diverse, high-caliber candidates for logistics-related degree apprenticeships.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new apprentices, ensuring a smooth transition into JD Logistics.
- Track apprentice performance, retention, and completion rates against KPIs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for UK HR Business Partners, logistics operations managers, and university partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience in apprenticeship program management, talent acquisition, or graduate recruitment within the UK.
- Strong understanding of the UK apprenticeship framework, including standards, funding, and assessment processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with academic institutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations roles within a large organization. (Preferred)
- Familiarity with JD’s business model and values. (Preferred)
- Professional certification in HR or apprenticeship management (e.g., CIPD, AAT). (Preferred)
