About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as an on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete Electronic Security projects
Perform or delegate tasks as required to execute assigned projects including system programming, integration, installation coordination, system and network commissioning and project closeout
Develop project plans and coordinate required resources for timely and cost-effective installation
Provide work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration as necessary
Complete typical installation of hardware design and software programming using established standards
Manage and complete loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers
Validate complete system functionality and resolves issues with subcontractors and others
Provide accurate project as-built and commissioning documentation
Provide coaching and technical assistance to Security Technicians, Electrical Installers, and others
Ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements
Communicate project status to management and assist with forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin
Perform site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system
Provide documentation and manuals for system operation

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of field experience in the commercial or industrial Electronic Security industry
Technical, hands-on experience with systems design, commissioning and/or programming of Electronic Security Systems
The ability to communicate technical material to a nontechnical audience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and general windows environment
The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances as needed. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.)
