About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work directly with customers on site at their food production facilities
Gather and prioritize customer requirements while on site
Assess customer production lines and provide feedback for process improvement
Locate necessary information and resources and explore options
Identify solutions and manipulate portioning system software to meet customer needs
Measure data, analyze trends, and communicate results
Coordinate customer visits based on department priorities and strategic programs
Report directly to the DSI Application Manager
Support automated waterjet portioning, trimming, and sorting solutions for food processors

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree in Engineering, Food Science, Poultry Science, or Meat Science
1+ years of experience with technical concepts involving computers, software, and robotics principles
Ability to creatively translate customer requirements into practical applications
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Ability to travel approximately 90% of the time
