About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Specify electrical devices for control panels
  • Produce electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Assist in electrical panel assembly
  • Create Bill of Materials and enter it into the JDE system
  • Support procurement of required materials
  • Develop PLC software using ladder logic
  • Design HMI screens and related operational functionality
  • Participate in FAT and SAT with the customer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control & Automation, or Mechatronics
  • Experience with ERP systems and standard office software
  • Knowledge of standards and techniques for preparing electrical schematics and panel design
  • Experience developing electrical projects for panels using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Familiarity with electrical panel assembly
  • Knowledge of automation devices (PLCs, Human-Machine Interfaces, variable frequency drives, industrial networks)
  • Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Experience in commissioning and start-up of equipment
  • Intermediate English/Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
