About the role

  • Install, commission, and service JBT Marel Fish processing equipment at customer sites across West Europe and worldwide.
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective work on both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance, rebuilds, and upgrades on machinery.
  • Provide technical support and customer training during installations and service visits.
  • Follow all JBT and customer safety requirements, maintaining the highest standards.
  • Document service activities, reporting deficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
  • Work flexibly, including weekends, to support customer and business needs.

Requirements

  • A mechatronics background (education or equivalent experience).
  • Experience servicing, maintaining, or commissioning complex machinery or capital equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • A proactive and independent mindset, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport, with willingness to travel globally (up to 60%).
  • Flexibility to work weekends as required.
