About the role
- Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with the US Account Executive
- Responsible for building partnerships, driving growth, and shaping the company’s local strategy
- Define and implement Javelot’s go-to-market plan for the U.S.
- Identify key market segments and growth opportunities
- Establish revenue goals, KPIs, and pricing strategies
- Develop strong relationships with cooperatives, grain traders, and agri-business partners
- Lead proposals, negotiations, and long-term partnership agreements
- Participate at key trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Build and lead the US business development team
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams in Europe
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in AgTech, SaaS, or related industrial B2B sectors
- Proven record of market development and strategic sales success
- Experience mentoring or managing team members
- Strong understanding of U.S. agricultural markets and commercial practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly self-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working autonomously
- Fluent in English, French proficiency is a plus
- Willingness to travel domestically (up to 50% of the time)
