About the role

  • Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with the US Account Executive
  • Responsible for building partnerships, driving growth, and shaping the company’s local strategy
  • Define and implement Javelot’s go-to-market plan for the U.S.
  • Identify key market segments and growth opportunities
  • Establish revenue goals, KPIs, and pricing strategies
  • Develop strong relationships with cooperatives, grain traders, and agri-business partners
  • Lead proposals, negotiations, and long-term partnership agreements
  • Participate at key trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Build and lead the US business development team
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams in Europe

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in AgTech, SaaS, or related industrial B2B sectors
  • Proven record of market development and strategic sales success
  • Experience mentoring or managing team members
  • Strong understanding of U.S. agricultural markets and commercial practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly self-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working autonomously
  • Fluent in English, French proficiency is a plus
  • Willingness to travel domestically (up to 50% of the time)
