About the role

  • Lead and manage one or two engineering teams of senior ICs
  • Own end-to-end delivery: drive sprint execution, process rigor, and meet product and business commitments
  • Set and uphold a high bar for engineering excellence, ensuring quality, reliability, and scalability
  • Contribute hands-on as a technical leader: design, code, review, and ship production-grade software
  • Coach, mentor, and grow team members to maximize performance and career growth
  • Partner closely with product management, product design, and business development on planning, prioritization, and roadmaps
  • Join customer demos and support enterprise engagements with technical expertise
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering management experience, including leading senior ICs
  • Proven track record in startup environments: navigating ambiguity, moving fast, and scaling teams
  • Strong technical background with TypeScript, Python, and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Strong background in AI frameworks and techniques; built and productionized AI systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery: sprint execution, process design, and accountability for timelines
  • Experience working across functions—collaborating with Product, Design, and Business Development stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent engineering in internal planning and external customer conversations
  • Track record of coaching, developing, and retaining senior engineers
