About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct daily cold calls, in-person visits, and networking outreach across the Twin Cities to generate new leads and consistently meet or exceed activity benchmarks.
- Introduce Jani-King's services, ask discovery questions, and determine fit.
- Plan and execute daily routes across Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding communities — including Bloomington, Edina, and Maple Grove — to maximize coverage and appointment conversion.
- Attend Twin Cities chamber events, business expos, and networking functions to represent Jani-King and generate leads.
- Book qualified, high-value appointments for the sales team and ensure all details are accurately documented in CRM.
- Develop strong connections with prospects through consistent, value-driven communication and regular follow-up.
- Revisit prior contacts, inbound leads, and event connections to keep the pipeline active.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and next steps, tracking activity against performance goals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior sales, prospecting, or customer development experience preferred
- Proven ability to meet activity-based goals and performance metrics
- Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable style
- Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance coverage for daily travel throughout the Twin Cities
