Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and develop new client opportunities through high-volume outreach, cold calling, territory canvassing, networking, and in-person visits.
  • Introduce Jani-King's services, identify potential facility needs, and schedule qualified, high-value appointments for sales executives.
  • Execute disciplined daily outreach to targeted businesses through cold calls, in-person visits, and networking events.
  • Secure qualified, high-value appointments for the sales team, ensuring decision-maker engagement and clear next steps.
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach, conversations, and follow-up strategy.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior sales, prospecting, canvassing, or business development experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed activity-based goals and performance metrics (calls, visits, appointments set)
  • Comfortable with high-volume cold outreach — both phone and face-to-face
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable style
  • Proven ability to manage a territory independently and maintain structured daily activity
  • Experience using a CRM system to track activity and pipeline performance a plus
  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with strong follow-through
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance coverage for daily travel.
