About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and develop new client opportunities through high-volume outreach, cold calling, territory canvassing, networking, and in-person visits.
- Introduce Jani-King's services, identify potential facility needs, and schedule qualified, high-value appointments for sales executives.
- Execute disciplined daily outreach to targeted businesses through cold calls, in-person visits, and networking events.
- Secure qualified, high-value appointments for the sales team, ensuring decision-maker engagement and clear next steps.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach, conversations, and follow-up strategy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior sales, prospecting, canvassing, or business development experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed activity-based goals and performance metrics (calls, visits, appointments set)
- Comfortable with high-volume cold outreach — both phone and face-to-face
- Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable style
- Proven ability to manage a territory independently and maintain structured daily activity
- Experience using a CRM system to track activity and pipeline performance a plus
- Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with strong follow-through
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance coverage for daily travel.
