Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute disciplined daily outreach to targeted businesses through cold calls, in-person visits, and networking events
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly activity benchmarks designed to drive measurable pipeline growth across the greater Buffalo territory
  • Introduce Jani-King's services, ask discovery questions, and determine fit
  • Own and manage your assigned territory like a business
  • Attend local business events, expos, and chamber of commerce functions across Buffalo to represent Jani-King and generate leads
  • Secure qualified, high-value appointments for the sales team
  • Accurately document all activity in CRM with accountability to weekly kept and qualified appointment targets
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach, conversations, and follow-up strategy
  • Develop strong, lasting connections with potential customers through consistent, value-driven communication
  • Manage your time, pipeline, and follow-up strategy to hit aggressive appointment and revenue-impact targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior sales, prospecting, canvassing, or business development experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed activity-based goals and performance metrics (calls, visits, appointments set)
  • Comfortable with high-volume cold outreach — both phone and face-to-face
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable style
  • Proven ability to manage a territory independently and maintain structured daily activity
  • Experience using a CRM system to track activity and pipeline performance a plus
  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with strong follow-through
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance coverage for daily travel
