About the role
- Proactively connect with 200+ targeted businesses daily across the Detroit/Metro Michigan region
- Engage & Qualify Prospects: Quickly establish credibility with decision-makers, introduce Jani-King’s services, ask thoughtful discovery questions, and uncover facility challenges where our solutions can add real value
- Lead Follow-Up: Nurture warm leads from marketing campaigns, inbound inquiries, networking events, and previous outreach
- Secure qualified, high-value appointments for the outside sales team
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of calls, conversations, and appointments in CRM systems
Requirements
- Prior telemarketing, inside sales, or outbound calling experience required
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed activity-based goals and performance metrics (calls, appointments set)
- Comfortable with high-volume cold outreach – phone and email
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce a plus)
