About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead our rapidly growing software development team
Collaborate with product, software and engineering teams to plan releases and clarify requirements
Take a leadership role in recruiting, hiring and onboarding
Remove roadblocks and support the team to overcome impediments to their success
Mentor Software Developers and provide honest coaching and motivation
Lead technical design sessions and contribute problem solving approaches
Champion best software practices and build or refine processes
Review designs, architecture, and code for quality, scalability and maintainability

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience as a professional software developer
3+ years of experience in a professional software leadership capacity
Experience with development of Azure Services
Basic knowledge and experience with DevOps
Strong software design principles as it relates to building web-based application platforms, APIs and data modeling
Experience with development of web-based applications
Experience with development using relational databases.
