About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build production systems where AI agents author changes to real code within deterministic gates, with independent verification and a full audit trail
  • Break customer and platform problems into workable pieces with the agile team and own most of them end to end
  • Design trust boundaries, blast radius, and least-privilege models for automation with elevated production access
  • Build evaluation and observability systems to measure accuracy and detect silent degradation
  • Produce auditable evidence that controls worked
  • Collaborate with security engineering and PDD developers
  • Explain complex technical topics across the organization
  • Apply engineering best practices, solve difficult problems, and help others improve

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years building enterprise-grade software commercially, with a solid grasp of testing and QA
  • 3+ years of commercial experience in Java or Python
  • Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks, including tool calling, multi-step execution, and structured output
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code
  • Sound judgment about appropriate automation autonomy and ability to articulate boundaries
  • Knowledge of trust boundaries, blast radius, and least privilege
  • Vulnerability management knowledge, including severity, exploitability, SLAs, and exception handling
  • Experience in an agile organization and with build systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo
  • Ability to build trust and rapport across levels and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Nice-to-have: software supply chain security, including SBOMs, provenance and attestation, image signing and verification, and policy-as-code
  • Nice-to-have: experience running AI coding agents at repository scale and building trustworthy evaluation harnesses
  • Nice-to-have: familiarity with AI governance in a security context, including model-use policy, data handling, and audit questions
  • Nice-to-have: experience in a regulated environment such as SOC 2 or FedRAMP
