About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a segment of the omni-channel inventory for finished products, including the execution of inventory strategies, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Oversee day-to-day allocation and replenishment operations to ensure optimal service levels as required.
  • Execute assortment strategies for existing and new store planning for store openings and closures in collaboration with interdepartmental teams.
  • Review and execute store/channel level exception plans for marketing campaigns, regional needs, visual merchandising, and overall inventory strategy.
  • Develop an understanding of channel, market, cluster, store, and regional level performance through data analysis.
  • Review allocation and replenishment rules to maintain system settings and operational integrity.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and serve as a liaison on stocking strategies, stock levels, and data requests.
  • Oversee replenishment runs as needed and coordinate with the Distribution Center leadership on capacity requirements versus availability.
  • Assist the planning and communication of inventory requirements within Supply Chain and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • 3 years of inventory planning, supply chain management or relevant experience.
  • Experience in planning and analysis with ability to collect and evaluate data to identify relationships and formulate recommendations.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and strategy.
  • Database management knowledge and practical applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas such as VLOOKUP’s, sum functions, linking sheets, creating charts, and pivot tables, And/Or operators, etc.).
  • Intermediate mathematical understanding and ability to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to travel to various work locations as needed.
