About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are the first point of contact for employees and managers on all operational HR matters, providing prompt, solution-oriented support in day-to-day operations
- You oversee the entire employee lifecycle — from onboarding and contract changes to offboarding, references, and certificates
- You ensure accurate preparatory payroll and coordinate collaboration with Finance and external partners (e.g., health insurance providers and insurers)
- You maintain our HRIS (Personio & Alveria) and support the optimization and automation of our HR processes
- You manage our benefits portfolio and are responsible for occupational safety and company health management
- You create HR reports and support data-driven decision-making within the HR team
- You work closely with Talent Acquisition, IT, and Finance to ensure smooth cross-functional processes
- You actively contribute to HR projects and implement improvements and process optimizations independently — including modern digital solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have at least 3 years of experience in operational HR / People Operations and understand the employee lifecycle from practical experience
- You work confidently with HR systems, ideally Personio, and have experience with digital HR tools
- You think in solutions rather than tasks, proactively develop processes further, and implement improvements independently
- You are structured, meticulous, and have a strong affinity for data, processes, and HR administration
- You communicate clearly, empathetically, and on equal terms with employees, managers, and external partners
- You have a good sense for modern HR trends and actively drive the adoption of digital tools and automation
- You speak fluent German and English and work reliably in a dynamic, international environment
