About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carry out the daily reconciliations of all the credit card suspense accounts
Ensure that all rejects are investigated and actioned
Daily reconciliation of all payments, settlements and rejects accounts
Ageing of outstanding items, escalating any exceptional items to your line manager
Investigating all reconciling differences in accordance with SLA’s
Liaising with the Payment Services & other Jaja teams on a daily basis
Raise and post journals to the finance system for any adjustments that may be necessary from the investigation of the reconciling items
Ensuring all tasks are operated to the highest levels of quality & compliance in line with defined standards and procedures
Assisting the reconciliations team leader with updates to reconciliation procedures as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

Be highly numerate with focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Be an accomplished user of Microsoft Office
Good oral and written communication skills
Be able to work to strict deadlines and within a team environment
