About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and support month-end close activities, including debt and interest calculations, intercompany processes, and exceptional cost reviews.
  • Own and maintain capitalised development cost processes, ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies.
  • Prepare monthly group consolidations and management accounts, including balance sheet, cash flow, and adjusted EBITDA reporting.
  • Deliver quarterly covenant reporting and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare statutory accounts for all entities, including audited consolidated accounts, ensuring all filing deadlines are met.
  • Proactively manage the external audit process with PwC and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely responses and accurate audit evidence.
  • Support the development and maintenance of group accounting policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of changes to accounting standards across the business.
  • Partner closely with FP&A, operational finance, procurement, and revenue teams to improve reporting accuracy and deepen commercial insight.
  • Support identification of capitalisation opportunities and strengthen business partnering across the organisation.
  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and process optimisation opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a strong technical accounting background.
  • Experience within a group finance, external reporting, or consolidation-focused environment.
  • Strong Excel skills, analytical mindset, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven experience preparing multi-currency group consolidations and supporting external audits.
  • Strong understanding of intercompany transactions and loan balances.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
