About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and support month-end close activities, including debt and interest calculations, intercompany processes, and exceptional cost reviews.
Own and maintain capitalised development cost processes, ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies.
Prepare monthly group consolidations and management accounts, including balance sheet, cash flow, and adjusted EBITDA reporting.
Deliver quarterly covenant reporting and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Prepare statutory accounts for all entities, including audited consolidated accounts, ensuring all filing deadlines are met.
Proactively manage the external audit process with PwC and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely responses and accurate audit evidence.
Support the development and maintenance of group accounting policies and procedures.
Monitor and assess the impact of changes to accounting standards across the business.
Partner closely with FP&A, operational finance, procurement, and revenue teams to improve reporting accuracy and deepen commercial insight.
Support identification of capitalisation opportunities and strengthen business partnering across the organisation.
Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and process optimisation opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a strong technical accounting background.
Experience within a group finance, external reporting, or consolidation-focused environment.
Strong Excel skills, analytical mindset, and excellent attention to detail.
Proven experience preparing multi-currency group consolidations and supporting external audits.
Strong understanding of intercompany transactions and loan balances.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
