About the role
- Support the launch of the new bookkeeping MVP
- Manage onboarding and coordinate client handoffs
- Oversee offshore bookkeeping work and ensure accuracy
- Provide a smooth client experience with light-touch support
- Act as an entrepreneurial partner to help build and refine the model as we go
- Receive and qualify leads from field tax preparers
- Contact clients, explain the service, and complete sign-up and billing
- Gather documents and account access during onboarding
- Prepare clean and organized onboarding packages for offshore
- Review offshore work, including reconciliations and monthly reports
- Send final reports to clients and answer basic questions
- Handle escalations and missing or unclear information
- Monitor workflow, turnaround times, and overall service quality
- Identify clients who need more than the MVP offering
- Suggest improvements to processes, templates, and SOPs
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- 2 to 4 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- Familiarity with transactional processing and account reconciliations
- Experience working with accounting software (Xero is a plus)
- Experience coordinating across teams or working in a structured workflow environment
