About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute research and sourcing strategies for healthcare executive searches
  • Identify and build pipelines of qualified executive candidates
  • Use LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, professional associations, databases, directories, Boolean search, and other resources to source candidates
  • Identify sourcing gaps and recommend new approaches
  • Maintain accurate candidate information in the applicant tracking system
  • Keep search teams informed about progress, market feedback, and emerging challenges
  • Conduct outreach to prospective candidates and convert qualified prospects into active candidates
  • Screen candidates against established criteria and assess experience, accomplishments, credentials, and career goals
  • Identify concerns or gaps and communicate them to the search team
  • Prepare candidates for interviews with Kirby Bates search leaders
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the search process
  • Ensure resumes and candidate materials meet accuracy, content, and presentation standards
  • Help coordinate client interviews and candidate logistics
  • Support follow-up with successfully placed executives during their first year
  • Collaborate with Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, and other Kirby Bates team members throughout searches
  • Contribute insight, judgment, and information while meeting commitments and maintaining attention to detail
  • Participate occasionally in in-person client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, seminars, and industry events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree; a healthcare-related field is preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in retained executive search or healthcare recruitment
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and engage candidates through LinkedIn and other sourcing channels
  • Strong Internet research and Boolean search skills
  • Experience using recruiting databases and research tools such as ZoomInfo
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems; Bullhorn experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Teams, and Excel
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with the ability to produce polished, client-ready work
  • Excellent verbal communication and active-listening skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple leaders in a collaborative, matrixed environment
  • Ability to receive feedback, adapt quickly, and continuously improve
  • Self-motivation and discipline to thrive in a remote work environment
  • Ability to meet applicable E-Verify requirements
  • A Master’s degree in Nursing, Human Resource Management, or another relevant discipline is a plus
  • Candidates who receive a conditional offer may be required to undergo pre-employment drug testing
