About the role
- Identify current TikTok, YT short, and IG reels video and meme trends
- Brainstorm ways to use trends to create content
- Run content ideas by Senior Marketing Manager and/or Marketing Editorial Lead
- Create approved content and seek approval before posting
- Film live-action content with self and friends playing Jackbox party games
- Film and screen record gameplay content
- Edit video content using graphics and music from Jackbox creative library
- Film other pieces of live-action content drawing on game night experience
- Understand and follow advertising guidelines
- Source content from creators on social media, Twitch, and YouTube
- Comment on brand-safe posts and request permission to share creator content with credit
- Provide copywriting support for blogs and social media posts
Requirements
- Can work at least 25 hours a week through mid December
- Working knowledge of video editing tools (TikTok, CapCut, Adobe Premiere)
- Comfortable pitching unique ideas
- Great sense of humor aligned with Jackbox voice
- Comfortable filming themselves speaking to camera
- Can coordinate occasional game nights with friends to film content
- Strong understanding of punctuation and grammar
- Can write content that fits the Jackbox Games tone
- Likes Jackbox Games
