About the role

  • Lead, motivate and develop the field sales team in Southern Germany
  • Provide coaching, training and regular feedback
  • Develop annual business plans for existing and new customers
  • Actively drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers in grocery retail (LEH) and the out-of-home sector
  • Accountable for sales forecasting and budget control
  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management
  • Achieve sales targets and initiate corrective actions when necessary

Requirements

  • EU citizenship and/or a valid work permit required
  • Degree in Business Administration or a comparable field
  • Several years of leadership experience in FMCG field sales, ideally in the snacks, confectionery or beverage industry
  • Deep understanding of the German retail market and the out-of-home sector
  • Proven track record in implementing sales strategies and meeting ambitious sales targets
  • Leadership personality with a strong coaching mentality who motivates teams to perform at their best
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commercial sense
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with market and sales data
  • Ability to communicate and present convincingly at all levels
  • Very good German and English skills
