About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and implement complex industrial engineering projects across site, regional, and global operations
  • Drive waste elimination and operational excellence using Industrial Engineering principles and Lean methodologies
  • Develop advanced FlexSim and other simulation models to evaluate production flows, capacity, labor utilization, material movement, and facility layouts
  • Lead greenfield and brownfield manufacturing site development, including facility planning, line design, equipment layout, staffing, infrastructure, and operational readiness
  • Evaluate workforce utilization, facility layouts, production costs, process flows, and end-to-end value streams
  • Conduct process simulations, operations research studies, and business case analyses
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Industrial Engineering systems, tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Facilities, Quality, and Program Management
  • Prepare manufacturing quotations and operational models for new business opportunities
  • Define and standardize SAP and MES configurations
  • Support leadership in evaluating process reliability, profitability, and manufacturing strategies
  • Lead Industrial Engineering support for NPI initiatives
  • Develop and communicate Industrial Engineering metrics to regional and global stakeholders
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Industrial Engineers and cross-functional team members
  • Create and implement Industrial Engineering best practices and share learnings globally
  • Support Lean transformation through process discipline, data integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security requirements, and safety standards
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering discipline required
  • Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration (MBA), or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years of Industrial Engineering or closely related manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience leading large-scale manufacturing optimization and operational improvement initiatives
  • Experience in new manufacturing site development, factory launches, facility expansions, capacity planning, and production system design
  • Significant FlexSim experience for manufacturing simulation, capacity analysis, production flow optimization, and network modeling preferred
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing operations and cross-functional projects in a complex industrial environment
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered
  • Advanced knowledge of work measurement, capacity planning, process mapping, facility and workstation design, discrete event simulation, operations research, value stream mapping, and labor modeling and optimization
  • Expert-level proficiency with FlexSim simulation software and digital models
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing site development, production system design, facility planning, and manufacturing startup execution
  • Knowledge of global manufacturing strategies and operational best practices
  • Data science, statistical analysis, and advanced analytics skills preferred
  • Financial acumen including P&L analysis, capital planning, cost modeling, ROI analysis, and operational budgeting
  • Track record of successful change management and continuous improvement implementation
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in manufacturing
  • Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing process controls
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, SAP, MES, and related engineering tools
