About the role
- Provides regular updates to senior leadership, external partners, and internal teams on the status of infrastructure programs, including risks, blockers, and dependencies
- Displays in depth knowledge of datacenter power distribution, cooling and related systems and sub-systems
- Acting as technical advisor, working closely with cross functional teams, and focusing on engineering teams to understand challenges, propose solutions, and ensure technical feasibility
- Coordinate multiple projects and reconcile interdependencies among them
- Drive decisions with appropriate stakeholders, eliminating roadblocks to resolve customer issues
- Adept at managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating schedules
- Collaborate with factory-based PMs to provide support from RFP through NPI completion of FWT
- Manage RFP timelines, milestones, meetings, document repository, RFIs/ECNs and team up in packaging all RFP deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field is required
- 5-10+ years of datacenter and/or industrial technical program management of design/engineering/manufacturing/test experience is required
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, integration strategy, and system coordination is a must
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience is required
- 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience is required
- PMP certification is preferred
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Data Center Infrastructure is preferred
