About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and support high-speed automated assembly systems with throughput rates up to 360 parts per minute
Troubleshoot and optimize automation equipment to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and quality
Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and new capital installations
Collaborate with controls engineers, integrators, and maintenance teams on system improvements
Support automated material handling systems including robotics, AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots), AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) , and conveyor systems
Work with quality and controls teams to maintain and improve inspection accuracy and reliability
Provide hands-on engineering support to production operations
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
Analyze process data to identify trends and drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
5 years minimum experience with automated manufacturing systems and equipment
Knowledge of mechanical design, materials, and industrial systems
Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and automation-related issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
