About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement strategic plans for large factor assembly operations
- Oversee the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
- Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers
- Establish and maintain robust material flow systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, supply chain, quality, and production teams
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices in industrial engineering
- Manage capital expenditure projects related to factory expansion and equipment upgrades
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering and manufacturing operations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial and/or manufacturing engineering
- Proven expertise in industrial engineering principles, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, time studies, and capacity planning
- Extensive experience in designing and optimizing complex material flow systems within a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing engineering teams
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale manufacturing projects
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools
- Up to 75% travel is required.
