About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the overall execution of activities in support of the business, supply chain, and operations
- Play proactive role in providing financial advice on business issues
- Provide independent evaluation of financial forecast and assess risk or opportunities
- Support and monitor business opportunities by reviewing quoting and business proposals
- Drive improvement in Core Operating Income and working capital metrics
- Engage and contribute to operating metrics and long-term planning
- Work closely with finance and operational teams to review KPIs
- Monitor initiatives to achieve Long-Term and Annual Operating Plan
- Support supply chain management initiatives
- Identify and challenge cost structures and support project-based initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- At least 10-12+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a regionalized position
- Manufacturing experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
- Experience in financial oversight & guidance
- Proficiency in decision support analysis
- Ability to establish key financial and business controls
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
