About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own structural design and analysis for data center centric power and cooling systems, including frames, enclosures, skids and mounting structures.
Perform and review structural calculations for static, dynamic, seismic, transport and installation load cases.
Ensure structural designs meet applicable codes, standards, and jurisdictional requirements for global deployment.
Lead seismic qualification efforts, including floor response spectra evaluation and anchorage requirements.
Ensure designs safely support heavy components such as large bus structures and transformers under all operating and fault conditions.
Act as the technical authority for regulatory, AHJ and customer structural sign‑off requirements.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to identify and mitigate structural risks early.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States
10+ years of experience in structural engineering for industrial or infrastructure class equipment
Demonstrated experience performing and certifying structural analyses for heavy equipment assemblies
Ability to independently own structural decisions and provide stamped deliverables if required.
