About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently design and maintain complex mechanical assemblies using advanced parametric CAD modeling in SolidWorks and/or Creo.
Develop detailed layouts and assemblies encompassing structural elements, enclosures, piping systems, thermal components, pumps, valves and mounting interfaces.
Ensure mechanical designs meet performance, thermal, structural, manufacturability, serviceability and customer requirements.
Resolve system level mechanical integration challenges, including packaging constraints and interface definition.
Maintain stability and integrity of complex models as engineering changes are introduced over time.
Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECNs), ensuring traceability, compatibility with released configurations and minimal disruption to production.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
8+ years of hands on mechanical CAD design experience with complex, multi component assemblies
Expert proficiency in Creo and/or SolidWorks, including advanced parametric modeling methodologies
Strong command of GD&T, tolerancing and manufacturing documentation
Proven experience executing configuration controlled designs across multiple product variants and lifecycle phases
Ability to independently own complex technical work with minimal oversight.
