About the role
- Responsible for demand management and inventory strategies for global business unit
- Coordinate planning activities in support of long-term supply plan
- Manage customer forecast and develop process for demand changes
- Validate customer demand through historical data and discussions
- Prepare analysis for collaborative S&OP meetings
- Finalize collaborative forecast with customer and develop master schedules
- Balance customer satisfaction with inventory costs
- Maintain critical planning data elements in systems
- Support monthly revenue forecast cycles
Requirements
- Advanced PC skills including training on Jabil's software packages
- Ability to understand, calculate, interpret, and communicate basic statistics
- Ability to apply critical thinking to large sets of data and information
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows operating system
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
