About the role
- Responsible for the materials strategy in the assigned global business unit.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the work cells in factories where the business unit manufactures.
- Analyze the customer’s needs and develop an appropriate materials strategy that is in alignment with Jabil’s organizational goals.
- Communication with the team for periodical exchange of ideas and information.
- Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results.
Requirements
- HS Diploma and eight years related experience in electronics manufacturing and materials management is required.
- Experience in negotiation, cost reduction activities and materials planning required.
- Domestic and international travel is required.
- Customer service and management, strategic supply chain solutions and proposals and value add proposal creations and reviews with business unit and operations management teams preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Logistics Management, or related discipline preferred.
